Anything you fir down your barrel can become a projectile...
I'm new here but have seen alot of posts about things like golf balls and other small objects that would make great projectiles. If the object is too small for the barrel then wrap it in paper towel until it can properly make it air tight. When fired the smaller object comes flyin out and the paper stays behind.
yes that works well but alot of people use pre-cut foam sabots welcome to spudfiles

in the upcoming presidential election, there will be several candidates who will be running, one of whom is Hillary Clinton. Now WAIT A SECOND!!! I though there was some sort of rule that prevented someone from serving more than two terms in office. Vote Against Hillary: Presidential Elections 08
For paintballs many people like to use "Dixie" cups, they are miniature cups that bend to fit into barrels and if you put 2 bottem to bottom, one catches the air good and the other holds the paintballs, there are also more complex 3 cup sabots...
I normally just use a wash cloth for wadding since it's re-usabe, but I have used styrofoam sabbots and foam sabbots and they all work great...
Sch 40 PVC
"D" cells wrapped in tape fit in 2"
"C" cells wrapped in tape fit in 1.5" and 1" good
Paintballs fit loose in 3/4"
"AA" batteries wrapped in tape fit in 1/2"
Paintbals fit great in 3/4" CPVC (it's SDR 11.5 or something)

I wish people would stop needing a better signature!

I think 3/4 CPVC is SDR 13.5, but who really cares?
One of my favorite sabots is the caps off of aerosole cans. The ones off of this one type of shaving cream fit perfectly in my 2inch SDR 40 barrel. Or, I have also slit them down the side to make them compress and work. They seem to catch air really well, and hold up a lot better than paper towels.
Heck, I've cut a spud in half and then thrown rocks and junk on top it. This was in my old gun, and it was just shooting into a cornfield at the time. So it's not really that big a deal.

I use my old sock as wadding. It gets a little torn up when I shoot acorns though.
