I'm not sure how many times i have thought about that idea but never tried it. It's great to finally see someone else build it and make it work! :D MY idea for an improvement was to make it into a gun style (add a stock) and have a trigger that fires a nail on a spring to pop the cartrige open!!! :D If you don't try this i might have to. Good job over all. I'm glad to see it work. :D

Also because of the large extra amount of air shot out you might be able to make it semi auto by use of a piston that pushes a bolt back on the outside of the gun like most semi/full auto firearms have. :D Just for added complexity because nobody wants to have to reload between shots!!! :D Although with the cost of co2 cartriges, semi auto could get really expensive really fast. :(

you could make a full auto
like you said have a spring loaded bolt with nail struck through and a mag when first cartridge comes in pull back bolt let go air forces bolt back next cartridge comes up bolt recoils and hits next cartridge and so forth. if it dosn't work test with different springs
