and attached a mini 1/4" ball valve with the help of epoxy.
the canster is rated to 150psi safe working pressure with the safty release to go off at 300psi (safty relase is broken)..
i use a 1/4'' x 1/2'' reducing nipple and a 1/2'' kinco nut and olive attached to a lenght of 1/2'' copper

Been thanked: 1 time

cool!!

though I'd put a T between the chamber and the BV and put a nipple with an endcap in the other port... that's what I did on my first ball valve pneumatic.. I could hold it like a real gun and opening the BV was way easier

A while ago i was looking at one of those airhorn things. (Does it serve you well?) About the gun: very clean and simple but i agree with theBOOM a longer barrel would increase performance alot.

for what it is it does me well ,,a good sterdy tank and handy shrader valve pre threded in the underside .
the are so many application in witch u could use it,mine being just one,,as for the barrel

it still shoots little screws wraped in duct tape about 35-40 meters, and if u got shot with it at 10 meters u would have a nice bruse, its all in how quick u relase the air.

fore you could get better potential out of this if you had a similar blowgun as your other pneumatic to act as a pilot valve :)
Or were you just thinking of using this as something simple to meddle around with? Good idea on using the airhorn tank :)
