I am Interested in THIS product.

But really my question is about the hose.
I want to shorten the hose to about 4, 5 or 6 feet.

What would be the best way to do that (fittings?)???,
(so the co2 tank could go on a belt hook (similar to a canteen) or larger/ seriesed tank(s) in a backpack)???

Also, this hose is rated to 2000PSI so I am thinking a little/bunch liquid CO2 in the line will be no problem correct? (some overview).

There are other hoses rated to 4600(+) PSI but I still am looking for the best way to shorten them?

I will figure it out either way, and don't expect much due to my stress induced psychotic episode the other day...
But thanks in advance for any feedback! 8)

Thanks, I'll do that.

The purpose though, is to get the valve and mod(shorten) the hose (included).
Or mainly to mod the high pressure hoses sold at the big hardware stores.

At 20(+) feet, that would be plenty of extra hose to use for other things, including chambers for mini (whatever).
Or barrel sleeve maybe.

What would be the best fittings/ way to use the hoses from THOSE???

EDIT: Mostly I am interested in shortening the one the valve comes with.(?)

Most high pressure fittings are compress clamped with a special tool to do the compression onto the hose barb. Home remedies and supplies are not sold to retail buyers in most local areas due to liability issues.

A home crimp job can be a litigation nightmare when it fails and the manufacture is held liable. For this reason, high pressure crimping is best left to industrial suppliers of the hose.

In my neck of the woods, one of the local hydraulics specialists does all my hoses for me. The includes hoses for older automotive air conditioning, propane, and other high pressure applications besides hydraulics. See if there is a hydraulics service company nearby. They may be able to do your custom high pressure hoses for you with the proper tools and fittings.

A crimping machine is for sale on this page;

For small jobs, it's cheaper to simply let the professionals do the job.

Thanks Tech!
Yikes! When I clicked the link , first thing I saw was "$20,000".
I guess the $1000 the crimp costs isn't too bad If I had a production use for them (but don't now). Shop idea is more practical.

I am wondering if the shorter hydraulic tubes have same threaded fittings as pressure washer...(doubtfull, and IIRC they have smaller ID= constriction).

Then I'd still need to get the hose onto a CO2 tank though.

I am interested in the set-up of pressure washer, hose and remote tank for a few designs:
Main One is a BBMG where the magazine is inline with the barrel,
The pressure flows into a "y" and enters between the first BB inline with barrel and the BB behind it.
There will be a ball-detent in the breech.
This way (theoretically) the pressure will shoot only one BB at a time.
The pressure should propel the front BB out muzzle while BB's behind press rearward and magazine becomes pressurized.
Suction/ pressure in mag. will line up the next shot when the BB has left the barrel (pressure drop in barrel).

Also this set-up could be used to fill/ trigger a larger burst-disc.
Or coupled with the BBMG for a M-203 on M-16 type configuration.

Or the pressure washer nozzle threaded onto a much larger chamber (something) for filling it.

Also, maybe oxygen or N2O could be connected for fueling a hybrid design.

Comes from my sandblaster handle connected to hose and small LP propane tank, but for CO2 / high pressure, it gets a lot trickier! 8)

Paintballing remote lines could work as already mentioned, they will handle 800psi with ease.

If they don't have the same fittings, don't worry. Often the shops while geared mainly for the hydraulics industry also do the other hoses as they are set up with the raw hose in many sizes, crimping machine, and an assortment of fittings. The outfit I use does, hydraulics, fuel oil, air conditioning, and pressure washer hose replacements. You wouldn't know it from the company name. Best part is they make most hose assemblies while you wait.

Look for a Kunkles auto supply, I think there's one near you. They build custom hoses for any hydrolic app. so I'm sure they can hook you up. Just make sure you request the proper fitting sizes.

I also put in a vote for either a remote line from paintball, or a macroline (1/8" tubing) sytem, using quick release compression fittings commonly available for paintball.
The macroline is available in varying wall thickness's to accomadate any pressure, and it is very often used on paintball guns with un-regged CO2 entering it. Depending on your flow requirements you may need to step up to 1/4" tubing, which there are also compression QR fittings available as well.

Sorry to bump this, but I was at the hardware store today and found that airless spray paint guns use 3,000 psi hose. :D Just another possibility to consider.

Thanks all, for replies!
Got some ideas now too.
I might look into 1/4" paintball type hose (connected to a sort of expansion chamber),
if having (the larger ID) pressure washer hose shop shortened turns impractical (got a shop in mind to check out)

Not sure the quality of the linked pressure washer or hose linked too,
Price was low enough for a starter to experiment on though.

BTW,
Today i was imagining, if I could use the set-up in mind to fuel/ trigger a hybrid design (with auto-Blow-forward type bolt),
It could have a larger hybrid barrel below (like M-203 config.)...

But could also be equipped with flame thrower front AND a captive bolt long bayonet type thing ...I has found new purpose in life!!! 8) 8) 8)

EDIT:This thing came to mind But I really liked the "Zorg's" other rifle, couldn't find clip of where it saws through a floor (only two good scenes from that flick IMO).  8)
Edit2: found a link but it was dumb because the gun shoots through a floor, but then not a table, the whole room explodes, but you can still hear chr*s t*cker scream like a [g@y doggie] over the bang...
