The guy wore leather gloves.
He also uses the butterfly method.
Your slingshot is very elegant.
You can wrap the rubber around the handle for pocket carry.
One question: Does the aim point remain steady as you move your hand?
Yes, very steady. It seems that once the ball has gained speed, it is almost impossible to alter its course.
The flipstyle method ONLY works when you shoot in butterfly, or at least half butterfly. Otherwise, there is not enough time to flip down your hand.
Again, this is NOT for beginners. Gloves will give some protection, but believe me there is enough force left too inflict major pain.
