Um, Tech, something tells me those cannons you are building will prove to be fairly INSANE as you are taking your previously proven design and beastifying it in a properly absurd manner.

The goal of the small one is to double the pressure and stored volume due to the higher pressure. It will be a test platform for bumper development. The 100 PSI cannon abuse the bumpers pretty badly. A fix will need to be designed to withstand repeated piston impacts at the new energy levels. The bumper will need to safely slow a heavier piston traveling at higher speed without damage. When complete, this will replace my 2 inch cannon. The tank is slighly smaller than the 2 inch, but will run at higher pressure.

GGDT predicts nice things with the larger valve and higher pressure, even if I screw on a 2 inch barrel. Tennis balls will be lethal.

After the bumper development is proven, then the next step up on the 3 inch is to drive a light gas barrel/piston to launch a golfball well into supersonic with just air. That will take a while.

The 4 inch is simply an insane mini pumpkin chucker.
