Bad air flow. I have a Bellpro one and the ports are rather small for the size.

will it be good in piloting a 1'' coax copper piston with a 1/2'' barrel? or should i go with this qev? http://cgi.ebay.com/Pneumatic-Quick-Exh ... 3ca1f7b400

The second QEV you posted is probably way better. Go with that one.
It'll pilot your 1" piston valve, but a 1/2" ball valve may give slightly better results.

Better yet, if you're not set on a coax, you can use a larger version of that valve as a piston. I've had great results with this one: http://www.fastenal.com/web/products/de ... ku=0443031elitesniper wrote:will it be good in piloting a 1'' coax copper piston with a 1/2'' barrel? or should i go with this qev? http://cgi.ebay.com/Pneumatic-Quick-Exh ... 3ca1f7b400

It doesn't take much of a pilot valve, either. This little guy is plenty if your pilot volume isn't large: http://www.mcmaster.com/#6790t42/=4tocmx
