As long as your NOT shooting fireworks from spud cannons video clips like thelessers are ok. Nice video's guys .

The only controls you need is starting/stopping the filming, all other settings can be made before the camera is enclosed, a single splashproof button shouldn't be too hard to make.

I obtained a 500W halogen lamp, plus I'm taking advantage of the weekend to film in direct sunlight

The only controls you need is starting/stopping the filming, all other settings can be made before the camera is enclosed, a single splashproof button shouldn't be too hard to make.

You might want to have another button for the shutter, so you can focus when in the enclosure, as the enclosure may affect the focal point. As you've probably realized, the movie record button alone doesn't cause the camera to focus.

What I was picturing in my head has a top hatch that would allow the shutter to be accessed before sealing it up.
