Yep. The one regulator I have used that is similar to this one had the adjuster on the side, though. This is because the "ribbed" portion acted as an expansion chamber for the CO2 and was able to be disconnected from the actual regulator.spudkpi wrote:I'm sorry for trying too look more look more intelligent on this than I am but I really admit to know that I don't know what I'm doing. It appears, however, that your "expansion chamber" is not able to be disconnected from the regulator, which would explain why the adjuster is on the bottom. Palmer's Stabilizers (what I use now) have the adjuster screw in the same position.
Take note on the following, however:
- Be sure to adjust it using the method I have described above. Doing it backwards will yield false results.
- The regulator will work best if it is broken in. Since you got this from ebay, it may already be broken in. If it's not, you will see that you are getting inconsistent results. All that is needed to fix this is to just use it and eventually it will work like it needs to.
- The regulator will need to be maintained to work properly. The best way to do this since you have no paperwork (assumed) is to get stronger with the Google-fu and try to find it online. Some regs take oil and some don't so I can't really help you with this one.
What is the name on the reg (as I am unable to make it out from the photos). With that, I will see if I can help you out with it.
