After seeing the multitude of pen guns posted in the last few weeks I decided to try building one. Right now all testing is done at 80-100PSI until I get my shock pump, then Ill up the pressure. The video below is a 80 PSI shot with a small nail at a Pepsi can.

Looks good but I would've liked to see the piston before it went in. Awaiting damage...

I bought a normal one, put it i my drill and held a file to it until all the rubber had be shaved off, than roughed it up a little so the epoxy would bond to it
That is all.

Good job on making it work.

As to removing the fill valve without piloting, this cheap shock pump design (the ones with the purple knob must... resist... temptation... for innuendo! gah! that allows you to independently depress the stem)

Either nails wrapped in tape, or at higher pressures steel ball bearings of the appropriate diameter.

I like the background music in the video :P
Pretty nice, I want to see how it holds up at higher pressure.

Looks very nice clemonsguy, how did you end up spacing the barrel from the chamber?

And I completely agree spudblaster, people who make a few well thought out and helpful posts earn a lot more respect in my book.
