What is the best size of pipes and stuff for a potato gun?
Please in cm and m not in inch and stuff.

Ok this question is impossible to answer without more info. Is it pneumatic or combustion. What is your primary ammo. What range and power do you want.

It's combustion and gonna shoot with hairspray. and the more power the more fun

@clemsonguy, this is in combustion cannon discussion, therefore it is a combustion cannon also he called it a potato gun, which means it will shoot potatoes.
@toon, a 1.5" sch 40 pvc barrel should fit most potatoes and if you use bigger potatoes then a 2" will work. Most common is 1.5" though. Oops in centimeters... hmm I don't feel like doing the math, lol.

And the chamber? whats best small,big? My father thinks tha bigger aint better.

Im guessing that you are from the UK

Best chamber would be 110mm / 11cm pipe, It is harder to find pressure rated PVC in the UK so if your going with un pressure rated then go with ABS much safer.

Barrel I would go with would be probably 40 - 50mm barrel.

Bigger is always better. There is no replacement for displacement

If your serious about building a good cannon, and not a cheap one with bits you can find, I can put you onto a good few PVC suppliers in the UK

My bad I missed that, and most people with spud guns dont shot spuds, Ive had the best luck with 1.5 inch so 4 cm barrels(estimate conversion) and 36 inch 3 inch so 7.5 cm chambers

boost helps...

Bigger is only better when the fuel burns before the spud leaves the barrel. I recommend playing around with HGDT to find where performance drops off with larger chambers.
