thanks yea im just not to sure bout that fill tube connection (still not that sure how much punishment epoxy can take) but now you said that, when i get a shock pump it will make me feel a bit better about maybe 300psi (still much better than the 80psi i am limited to atm)
thanks
If you are using JB Weld, or some other serious epoxy, I would have no problem taking it to 400 psi+. Just make sure to roughen up and clean the surfaces you are going to epoxy! Good luck!

Yeeeeeh :? The 200 lbs is probably tensile strength... if that's the case, I wouldn't take it up over 100 psi or so. If you wanna take this gun to it's full potential, i would re-epoxy everything with JB weld (It was a tensile strength of over 1800 lbs). But other than that, I'm really excited to see how this gun will work out!

Aha, well then you should have no problem at all! Good luck! And I'm waiting to see results! BTW, what is the bore size, and what will the ammo be?

cool thats what i like to hear.
the bore is 5mm and the ammo is 4.5mm steel bbs and probly use a bit of wadding, and as for results i have tested it at 80psi and it shot quite well i thought and went pretty far for that pressure but sadly 80psi wasnt enough to dislodge one of the bbs that was wrapped a bit to tight with tissue :( so i kinda have to wait till i get my shock pump and hope more pressure will do the trick :? oh well it gives me time to work on the handle a bit more
thanks for the help

you mean you shortened it? if so, it should be ok, as long as it has enough grip on the inside of the pipe.

From the size of that it dosen't look like it'll seal because normaly it's the back of the threads that seal on an O-ring.

there is still a couple of terns or thread still screwed in and it still seals at 80psi im just wondering if it will still hold 400psi when i get my shock pump

But is your pump a clip seal or a threaded one, all shock pumps are threaded and have on oring at the back to seal against the schrader.

oh i see what your saying, but that is my pilot valve i have a separate one which is my fill vale that is completely intact, but will the pilot one still hold 400psi now it has leas thread on the core?

when you fill it the first time just put a thick blanket over it, and point the part you are worried about away from you.
