This pole slingshot is based on a 3/4" diameter steel tube and a copper fork made with 1/2 fittings.

A piece of plywood was drilled at an angle and sandpaper was attached to the inner ID for friction.

The plywood handle slides easily to the rear for drawing and holds back the rubber for ease of aiming.

I can draw butterfly easily with it and could not do as well without it.

It shoots 80 grain marbles at just under 250 fps.

Yeah, pretty nice. hows accuracy?
how long does it take for a pair of rubberbands to wear out?

Now about :pukeright: GRAINS :pukeleft:.....
why don't you just use GRAMS instead. it makes it a lot easier to calculate
the power of your creations in joules.

I understand that Americans calculate in ft/s, ft/lb, and such stuff, but it is the most impractical system i've ever seen.

Boyntonstu uses grains as a unit, and on the evidence of some very long winded, tedious, and ultimately locked topics (or frequently, off-topics) that isn't going to change.

Please don't start that all over again.
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?
