Members who offered prizes need to contact MrCrowley via PM and follow through with giving the prize offered.

Members who offered money, have you sent it to SpudBlaster15 yet?

@SpudBlaster15, contact MrCrowley via PM about this.

That was quick, pengun arrived this morning!
Construction looks great, much better than I expected. I have to wait for my pump to arrive before I get to do any shooting though. :)

Bloody hell, really?!

What the hell is that supposed to mean :P

I'll reiterate my advice for its use:
JSR helpfully by PM wrote:Remember this design cannot be taken apart without destroying it, so make sure you:

1) Never load anything in the barrel before pressurising the chamber

2) Never load a projectile so tight that it cannot be dislodged by air pressure alone

If anything gets stuck in the barrel or between the breech and the piston, you're screwed. The piston is a nice thick piece of neoprene which should last for many shots without needing replacement.

There's a magnet at the breech to keep projectiles from rolling out.
you can use it at compressor pressures but it will be fairly weak and make sure projectiles are loose.

Hmm never heard anything back from SpudBlaster15, sent a few PMs.

Think I might buy one of these with the prize money:

Though, I do like pumps with much larger volume like my old one.

This is why I was never too fond of the idea of "unofficial contests", because I do not have full control over prizes. I let this one go on however.... lets hope it pans out for the best & I don't regret my decision.
Yes, I am the guy that owns & operates SpudFiles (along with our extremely helpful moderators).

er. wait.
Why didn't we have prize donations sent to PCGUY in the first place?
Regardless of who the member is, it still makes more sense to have the site admin handle the stuff that doesn't involve shipping charges.

It is hard to send a custom made to order part before the dimensions are known.

If send first was required, then the sizes would be limited to only those shown in the picture.

If it's for the pen gun, go for higher pressure. I've tested it to 800 psi without failure so it's very unlikely to blow up ;)

The gauge on the one you linked to only goes up to 300 psi, of course the pump can do more but it will screw up the gauge very quickly. Also, the "straight through" design means you cannot rest it on a hard surface to facilitate pumping, and the schrader attachment doesn't allow the valve stem to be depressed independently.

As suggested before, go for this one - none of the above issues, gauge goes to 400 psi and it costs significantly less than the allocated prize money posted ;)
