Hello, this is my first gun and almost everything I need to know about the valves I learned from this site. So this is it:

- barrel sealing valve in a brass 1/2" T and nipple
- piston: marker butt with glued rubber sealing
- 7,2 x 420 mm barrel
- pilot: self made out of an old bronze valve
- fill valve - quick-connect and ball valve
- chamber - pipe from a bicycle seat welded to iron nipple

I am not sure what is the preassure, because i dont have manometer. The scope is attached just for the photos, but i'll fix it latter. The barrel is bronze pipe glued in wider aluminium pipe to protect it form bending. The connection between the barrel and the gun is from the same type of valve that i used for the pilot soldiered on the bronze pipe. For ammo I use short pieces of 7mm nails, because i can't find proper size lead shots. At the moment, the gun is not very accurate because I don't have working sights, so I hardly hit bottle size targets 20 meters away.
The main disadvantage of the gun is that I must pump it for every shot and it is muzzle loaded. Also the trigger is very hard to pull. Also the pictures order is backwards but i dont know how to fix it :D

Sorry for my broken english.

push button valve ? for trigger, mice gun man, looks like you spent a long time perfecting it, you should make a bigger port http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/my-firs ... 22490.html heres how I made mine, makes performance a lot better since the flow isnt choked

Extremely nice for a first effort, I'm sure that in time a multishot with a silky smooth trigger will be no problem :)

In the spirit of the Vintorez, did you make holes in the muzzle end of the barrel so the outer tube can act as a suppressor?

What are you using to fill it? For small calibres a smaller high pressure chamber is ideal, using a shock pump or fridge compressor in the 400-800 psi range.

I'll say it for about the third time when faced with things like this, this is a great build for anybody, much less somebody who's (relatively) new to the hobby.

Can't find much fault with anything. Only thing I would suggest would be to get rid of the zip ties holding the scope rail on.

Great job again!

Looks really nice! The problem with your pilot valve is it looks like it is unballanced, so as the pressure increases, so does the force needed to open it. Still, its pretty good. I love the wood parts. :)

@ jackssmirkingrevenge - the barrel fits almost perfectly in the outer tube so it can't be used as а silencer. I glued it with epoxy

@ kotabuuki - yep I made the wooden parts, there are lots of errors on the stock compared to this - http://russianguns.ru/wp-content/upload ... SS-oo1.jpg but i blame the lack of tools :D

The wood that i used is some very old oak board from a wooden house - around 150 years , but its realy hard and there is no single worm hole on it, then I coated it with linseed oil

also thanks for the kind words everyone
