My air cannon
looks like a decent first cannon, with the exception of a few important things.
The end cap and bell reducer are DWV (non pressure rated parts.)
The pressure gauge should be threaded through 2 layers of PVC, like your fill valve.
The chamber looks to be made from cell core PVC. Not pressure rated

hey nice cannon for a first. looks almost exacly like my first, blue thunder, and I also used a bell reducer. I have had no problems yet up to 120 p s i, but thats me. keep your pressure low, and you should be fine. but always BE CAREFUL and BE AWARE!!!also, next time tap your blow gun right into the sprinkler valve for quicker opening time!! any questions??? pm me!!

Unless your hose is shorter than 6", it probably will make a noticeable difference. Your hose does seem quite long, so give it a go and see if you can tell the difference.Really, so take off the hose? They do sell pressure rated bell reducers so you should ask the member if theirs is pressure rated before telling them it's unsafe.I also used a bell reducer. Have you checked to see if all your pipe and fittings have "NSF-PW" printed on them?

The trouble is non-pressure rated fittings have short socket depths and are prone to literally flying off the joint even when glued properly. It's difficult to tell from the picture but it looks like the bushing that is glued in to the front, smaller diameter, part of the bell reducer has very little socket depth. Common sign of a non-rated fitting.[/quote]I wouldnt worry about the bell reducer, it looks pretty meaty and glued properly.
