im no expert but i don't think so, its normally open so its two threaded port flow constantly and when you pull the trigger it vents the pilot though the small hole. but even if it does not like your going to hold the button all day you pull and let go within 2 secs.AirgunsSA wrote:For all those planning to make this gun beware that the 3-way valve acts like a release trigger, meaning that it wont fire when the trigger in pulled only when you release it, it will fire.

AirgunSA is right it does do that and its a bit weird but its really easy to get used to

By the way im working on a new receiver for bbs since in Adelaide bbs are really easy to get and not that much as splat balls

Go to mitre 10 they have more of a range of plumbing fitting than bunningsHey where can you get the galvanized steel pipe ???? I've looked everywhere and bunnings don't seem to have it. Maybe i'm looking in the wrong section, any ideas.

Ill explain it more simply, when you pull the trigger it doesnt shoot but when you release it, it fires.

that's a normally closed valveIll explain it more simply, when you pull the trigger it doesnt shoot but when you release it, it fires.
when you press the button it fills the chamber when you realease it it fires the gun
It can be annoying but if you design a spring returned trigger that will keep it pressed in when the gun trigger is in 'not pulled' state you can get it to function the way you want
