I found a fridge compressor ,,, made by avanti ,, pretty small compressor a little smaller then a bowling ball ,,,
But the problem is, I think it is too small to even mod
The copper lines are really!! Small
The model number is 1101157743001068070003
Would post pics but computer is down
I also have another compressor ,, it's from a water dispenser made by energy star with a Johnson and Johnson label
The model number is GXCF05D
Would any of these work ?[/url]
Help with compressor!!!

Use the search function and type in fridge compressor. Without pics I think you are shitt out of luck??? I think you should make a cannon that can handle the amount of psi that a frige compressor can put out first maybe dont you think??

Oh you do, sorry, I did not know. :bs: Well good luck!
Also you need to use it for a 34 cc tank, or it will not work.

I used a compressor out of a water cooler, its like 1/20th HP so it isn't that strong.

I haven't tested how high it can go cause I don't have a gauge that high haha maybe I'll hook it up to the one on my bike pump.

I don't see any problem here...
if you have it and can hook it up to test it then do so... if it's no good at least you'll learn something in the process so in both cases you WIN
Don't worry if it hasn't been removed yet it's already wired up properly, just cut the copper tubes, then you have to remove the thermostat

Thermostat is a device that acts as a switch - it turns the compressor on when the temperature goes high... as the temperature drops (and there is no need to cool stuff down even more) - it turns it off
then the whole cycle repeats
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thermostat
So technically speaking it is just a switch... remove it and put a simple on/off switch there. If you have problems with it or are to afraid to do it yourself ask an adult for help
