I've been around these forums for a loooong time and it is refreshing to see two new posters with new ideas and the ability to fit into the community. (Heck they can even spell!)

I was getting discouraged that sooo many new posters seem to think they've created something really new when there are dozens of people on this forum that can say "been there, done that, got the t-shirt with burn holes in it to prove it". (or holes in the barn, or garage door, or ceiling, or ...)

So a big welcome to WingerCT, who apparently has a fiendishly clever application in mind. And to Mopardik whose first serious attempt is outstanding.

Winger & Mop, the old farts are looking forward to seeing more builds from you.

(BTW, some of the "old farts" on this board are teenagers.)

Hear hear, though admittedly some of the less bright/not sure if trolling members also provide a flicker of amusement :)

Being an "old fart" is a state of mind, nothing to do with age :D

Thanks for the warm welcome, Jimmy! You've made my day: I've never been accused of doing something "fiendish". Feels kinda good!

And as for clever, well, that remains to be seen. I probably just came up with a new way to destroy perfectly useful components, and perhaps internal organs...

I really do appreciate the time jackssmirkingrevenge has spent with me. He has been patient, knowledgable, and most importantly: droll. Gotta be droll about all this. Or why even get up. Know what I'm sayin'?

Many others have helped, too, and the repository of past info here is amazing. Clearly you all have a lot of time and effort invested in this site, and it shows.
