Those are pretty impressive, I especially like the .50 cal PCP. Wish he had some better videos of it in action, they're all pretty low quality/not good tests.

I actually (and almost literally!) came across this last year, it truly is fantastic work! Being in my pre-lathe days though I spurned it as "bah, I'll never have the facilities to make that, I'm going to mix some epoxy and feel better about myself".

Now, well it seems like my life will not be complete before I machine a "conventional" hammer valved PCP, hmmm...

Home built pcp will be a learning experience...a bit different than the Monsoon.

I'm tempted (and don't worry, there are some pneumatics yet in the pipeline...) but a hammer valve PCP seems a little too... normal, for my tastes at least.

The fact that you need a 2500-4500 psi reservoir for decent performance is a little off-putting... although a preloaded cartridge at such pressures might warrant investigation, hmmm...
