I was a little bored and I figured I haven't built anything in a while so I whipped up a quick QEV build,

Now, I had this idea to switch out the schrader valve and instead put a quick disconnect there. It would be line fed through a tube connecting to a 2'' PVC air tank, maybe 2 or 4 feet long that would be placed inside a backpack or something. Now, if the barrel is 1/2'' x 2 feet (volume ~6.7 cubic inches), what would be the best chamber size? Would 1'' PVC x 6 inches be the most efficient since its a 1:1 ratio? I will be shooting 1/2'' marbles.

I did a rev with 1/2 inch barrel x 3 feet long, and my firing chamber was about 10 cubic inches. It worked great for marbles and nail darts.

It depends on the pressure you are using, volume ratio alone is meaningless. At say 150 psi you would get decent performance.

You might want to consider getting a regulated paintball bottle if you want some good velocity coupled with a compact setup and a good number of shots.
