Help with a coaxial

Cannons powered by pneumatic pressure (compressed gas) using a valve or other release.

I am building a coaxial with cooper tubes, and observating some drawings about the sistem, i noted that the piston had a controles bleeding to the coaxial part of the air reservoir. My question is how much bleed is nescessary

A small hole will do.

Tiny works great. I use a drill designed to drill holes in printed circuit boards for component leads.
