Hi, just stumbled across this forum a week ago and wish I found it much earlier.. I started my project but sort of hit the brakes.. I'm thinking I'll make this the prototype since it works great but is just getting too heavy  After looking around this forum I think I've found some lighter alternatives.. Any input from you guys would be awesome.. Any how here she is.

so far only shot at 100psi but it does pretty well. shoots 5/16 nuts through 2 sheets of 5/8 sheetrock effortlessly..

Nail darts almost through 1/2 baltic birch plywood

Looks nice! Any details as far as how it's indexed/rotated?

Hi Mark, its pretty simple but works great.. Here's a close up of the mechanism that advances the revolver.

I also use 3/4 steal balls spring loaded against the other side of the revolver that serves two purposes, first to push revolver forward to disengage it from the QEV and to also index the revolver so its lined up to the QEV and barrel once advanced.

Interesting. I figured a ball-detent would make the most sense.

well today I finished it up.. shes big and heavy but I think I can use copper and aluminum to lighten this up a lot. Hopefully it will be smaller as well.. I also shot at 400psi today and its a whole other animal! It is super loud! I havent shot through the chrony yet but 5/16 nuts can pass right through 1/2 Baltic birch plywood and a wall with 2 layers of 5/8 sheetrock.. I'd like to go more pressure but I'm not sure where the limitations of the gas pipe are.. Anyway here's the completed pic
