Just caught the bug for home made air soft guns and have progressed from modifying nerf guns to building qev guns. So I have successfully made a very simple single charge air soft cannon, where I have an air cylinder that I charge up with compressed air disconnect the line and go and damage some cans.
My question is what can I add to my set up that won't drain the air tank with one shot? It's almost like it needs somthing in between the tank and the qev??
Thanks in advance.
Steve

Post photos or an accurate diagram of your setup and it will be easier to troubleshoot.

If it's a homemade "qev" : add a 3'rd valve that will be mounted to stop the air that the qev exits( behind it ). the valve will stay opened ( with a help of a soft spring) ( 1st valve- qev, 2nd valve - trigger valve, 3rd valve----sort of a check valve)
and when you shoot, the qev opens, 3'rd valve closes and stop the air, and the qev is forced to close. All this very very fast.
The qev piston must be very precise for all those to happen. IT works for me ! i got a diagram somewhere in my topics...
You should find tutorials here and on youtube.
Thanks in advance.
