Unfortunately due to overzealous moderation of historical footage, my YouTube channel has been terminated and the content is no longer accessible.

All the video footage I have shared on this forum since 2007 was uploaded there and the links are now all dead. I have however recovered most of the content and will be reuploading the more relevant clips to rumble here in due course, and will also add the links to the appropriate threads.

No thanks to YouTube that's for sure! They terminated all access without warning and rather naively I hadn't been keeping backups assuming the content would always be accessible online. I was however approached by a kind stranger who had been maintaining an archive of my uploads.

Completely, similar things seem to be happening to other channels too.

That doesn't seem likely, I even made an x/twitter account to appeal directly and no joy, but a consequence of that is I now have another outlet for historical clips :D

Well damn, just realised Rumble is blocked over here in the EU (or at least in frenchystan). No big deal, obvs, that's what tor is for :)

twitter can get tae feck, though.

It was quite a moment for me when I eventually realised that all the ww2 clips I had been watching were all uploaded by you.

Hey Jack,

Sorry to hear that. I was amazed to see the 37mm SAMC cannon footage you recently posted on X.

Could you say a bit about where that comes from? It looks like a US post-war demonstration but I cant be sure.

I'm writing a book on the SPAD-Canon series of aircraft due out next year so thrilled to see this. Am going to include stills in the book. If you have another URL for the video I'd be happy to credit you.
