6-inch combustion chamber

I have built several combustion guns with 3-inch and 4-inch chambers. I would like to build a larger one with a 6x24-inch chamber. Any thoughts?

You would get the same size with a 3x48-inch chamber and 3" stuff is cheaper. Still, it would look pretty cool.

actually 3x48 has a volume of 340cu inches
6x24 has a volume of 680 cu inches

volume of cylinder = pi * radius^2 * length
pi = 3.14 for those w/o the special button

3"x96" = 6"x24"
last i checked the PSI on 6" sch 40 was only 80, i'd stay w/ 4" or get a metal casing for the chamber in case of catastrophic failure

It's only a combustion, you don't need pressure rated shit for a combustion unless using injected fuels like propane hence the common use of ABS.
Good job on the math though, the only math class I payed attention to was geometry and now I know why I never told teach when the hell would I use that.

So if I use ABS for the chamber 6x24 it would be safer than PVC. What is the ABS rating?

Why, normal sch 40 would work and abs would work, abs would be ideal so it isn't as heavy.
Abs has no rating but it is fine for comustions.
