I made some slugs for my 1'' cannon out of fishing sinkers using a hammer and vise to shape them . The heaviest slugs I made fit the barrel and were only about a quarter to 3/8's inch long. Slugs this size are really destructive at short range but i doubt that they would travel in a straight line very far like smaller slugs would . Probablyat two or three hundred feet out they would hit the ground because of their heavy weight.
