260 psi dwv?

I found out that all the 3'' pipe I had is DWV . I'm planning to scrap it if I can't use it for my pneumatic. It's pressure rated to 260 psi though, and I was planning to say arounf ~70 psi, so A) am I being dumb and should just get rig of it B) what is the max pressure I can safely use it at?

Three inches? Because I don't think that it really matters for one part. From what I heard is that it's OK to have certain parts made out of DWV.

If there is a pressure rating on the pipe (260 psi), its good to use. Keep looking at the letters on the pipe... i am pretty sure it says nsf-pw on it

Yeah DWV is unrated(not like the movie rating).

Most med. Diameter pipe says that along with NSF-PW, and XXXPSI. The manufacturer must list all the ratings which include DWV applications.

You are mistaken, if the Part is pressure rated then tahts fine.
I have pressure rated DWV.

Yes, most pipes also have NSF-DWV along with the NSF-PW, because if it is rated for pressure, then it is most certainly safe for non pressure applications.
