anyone know the outter diameter of a standard one?

Well they are about the size of a tennis ball.

thanks for the idea lol I'm gonna fill those with water and freeze em. There are a bunch of different sizes so you could probably find one to fit in 2" or 2.5"

I doubt that there is a universal 'standard' for christmas ornaments, if you are going to shoot them why not use wadding, eg paper towels, tissues etc.

Yeah 2-2.5 sounds like a good size. I wouldn't shoot a plain one without ice in it, the force might shatter the glass befor eit even leaves the barrel, and that would be no fun.

the ones have on my tree are larger than a tennis ball....and I dont have calipers.

they do seem like they'd fit in sleeved 3"

but ya they're pretty cheap right?

im gonna make a huge wrack that i put outside full of water to freeze ice blocks for my omega.

nothing is cheaper than water and cold air

Well here in Australia we are in a big drought, and farmers are paying a fair price for water. Some people are even stealing water!!!

i dont think there is a standard size the biggest ive sen around here was 5" and the smallest ive seen around here was 1"

at least from where im from there is no standard size but i dont know about where your from

ok pay the bill for my dad to come over their with his van and have him wash it in 1-2 days it will start raining like you wont beileve. This has happened every time since he bought over 9 years ago I think it is. :lol: :lol: :lol:

As to orniments dont use your parents buys some I you want to do that unless you want to be in big trouble with your parents.
Honey where are the orniment idk go ask our children.
