Joining elbows?

All pipe is DWV, Sch-40 means nothing,but the fittings he used were not pressure rated.
Now come one mister steve you have been here long enough to know thay;)

It says sch 40 on it? Because I have never heard of sch 40 fittings that are just dvw

Yes, most pipe has DWV on it, Sch-40 is just describing the wall thickness. Alot of non-pressure rated fittings are thinwall PVC which isn't Sch-40, that maybe what your seeing.

Those couplings are pressure rated but you should still use pipe instead. The pipe is a better fit, cheaper, and cas no flow constrictions.

Keep your couplers for another project and buy some pipe.

Frank I typed what I meant wrong I meant I didn't know they had fittings that were sch 40 and not pressure rated.

Oh, its ok, I feel dumb today, I found out that ovc was measured in inner diameter:(
