I heard you can purchase new valves for CO2 fire extenguishers to convert them to regular tanks. The problem is that I can't seem to find a place to buy the valve.
Do any of you have an idea?

You would probably have to shop online in order to find a place to buy one, now you've got me interested in getting one

Not sure but ive done a mod to convert the threads from around 17mm-6mm(1/4") using a old kitchen tap threads. I posted a topic on it in the how-to section

I've looked online and no place has any kind of order form or anything. Today I exchanged a 20lb bottle at a welding supply store, and asked them about valves, and they don't have anything. It's getting very annoying.
And to just exchange my 20 more often isn't a very good option since the store has weird hours and its kinda far away.
