new air rifle

hey all, this is my first post and i have built a fair few pneumatic cannons and they take way to load and pump up, but i still use em. and anywho, this year im turning 18 which means i can get my gun lisence and i go hunting alot with my dad, and i have a 22 magnum at the moment, but i am getting something bigger as soon as i can afford it probably a 30-05 or a 308, and i also want to buy and air rilfe but i dont have any idea what one to get, i want something that is good all round, can take down a rabbit easily shoots far and has good accuracey and you have to be able to get it in australia! so all ideas will be muchly appreciated.

I don´t know about the law in your country....

But if I would have the choice...
I would supose a 0.22 hornet because of the price of the bullets
and the power they have...

I shoot a "Hornet" at a little deer, the distance was about 150 meters (450 feet???) and the projectile put a little hole on the one side......

on the other side of the deer it put out parts of the deer´s stomach !
