Can you mod this valve

That valve should be modded and can easily be modded from the quick looks of the valve I took.

Is the valve rod mounted in the bottom half of the valve?

If so this makes it much easier, and the port where the solenoid screws into can be drilled and tapped to accept a blowgun or air hose to blowgun. Depending on the wall thickness and size of the hole you might be able to drill and tap the hole high enough to avoid the guide rod.

Take a nice picture of the top of the valve with the solenoid removed, it looks like an easy valve to mod.

Is it a 3/4" or 1" valve?

one inch and the metal rod runs all the up to the solenoid

but is it mounted in the base of the valve? if so you can simply bend it over after the diaphragm is put on. You might be able to cut it shorter too. As for drilling and tapping, you could probably do it right in the solenoid hole depending on how thick its walls are, just dont drill it too big

you dont need to modd it.........it will work just fine...just hook the solenoid up electically with a switch and 3 nine volts...
