Well i have a PVC end cap (2") and i need a 2" coupling and a 2" piece of flat pvc.
I was thinking of cutting the end from an end cap, so im left with a piece of PVC that will fit tightly onto 2" pipe(using as a coupler) and then gluing the sheet of pvc from the end(fit nicely over it) and cap it off. I will draw a diagram if no-one understands.
Just wondering if this is a good idea. I will not be using the pretend coupling to hold pressure so it should be okay i think.
Thanks

Are you really that cheap where you can't spend the whole 60 cents on a new coupler?

"*GASP* 60 cents?! hmmm... i dunno if i would be willng to pay that."
if this was Rambo, i would expect something like that.
personally, i would just buy the coupler, cause even if its not going to hole pressure, there's still the possibility of it snapping off or sagging at that point.

There are rules, and then there are hundred dollar bills.
they cost $3.15 here. Are you really that cheap where you can't spend the whole 60 cents on a new coupler?
And I just want to improvise because its a fairly long drive to bunnings, i get told that my parents cant make a 'special' trip just to get one thing.
