Is there any difference between a chamber sealing and a barrel sealing piston? I am talking performance wise. The piston being in a T fitting of course.

Joking. But do search, there are close to 48 topics on this subject on these forums....please use the search thingy thats why its there. This is been covered many times and the outcome is usually Barrel sealers are better as they peform better either with faster opening times or bigger flow or something along those lines and they're easier to build with the option of O-rings or no O-rings.

There both about equal its all about craftsmanship and use...
Chamer sealers are higher flow but slower
Barrel sealers are lower flow but faster
it depends on application and skill

you beat me to this point... I think this is the single most weighty factor folks use when deciding which to use. Orientation doesn't typically matter since it is a T and speed of opening is determined by craftmanship and design.
