Whats happening all?, When i try to screw in the barb into the sprinkler valve, it strips all the teflon off the thread leaving it bare on the inside and a build up of it on the outside. How can i stop this from happening?

put the tape on tighter man, or do it the pro way and use thread sealant, i use locktite hydraulic tread sealant.

Sprinkler Valves Can be modded to produce a quicker opening time.

and

Scrader Valves are simply bolted or tapped into a layer or 2 of pvc.

i found this info in less than a minute in the WIKI  have a look around there before asking these "types" of questions.

Sniff...thanks chaos...I love your gun too.

The seal on the breach doesn't do a 100% job, but is does good enough. Just to give a magnitude, at 100psi, the leakage from the breach would just move the hair on your head a fraction. The projectile goes clean through 1/2in ply @ ~10-12m)

And the trigger, so comfy my hand falls asleep sqeezing
