The only way youd get it to heat up to the point where you couldnt hold it was if you repetadly fired it over and over again with out letting it vent. I can get my PVC pipe hot but not that hot you cant hold the gun. you should be rite my mates metal gun dosent heat up at all under normal cercumstances..
