this is my idea, but i can't do it now (lack of funds)
i was just recently thinking while working on an engine about the Distributor that sends the electric charge to the spark plugs in a certain order. I was thinking about building multiple cannons with spark plug ignitions to and hook them into the Distributor which is hooked into an electrical supply. and if the theory works and the Distributor is turned I should get an alternating ignition system thus having the multiple cannons go off like a gatling gun.
What do you guys think? I am crazy? Will it work? and Has anyone tried to do this?
thanks

Yep, that'll work just fine.
You'll need an old style distributor from a car, a way to spin its shaft, a fairly high powered 12V supply (like a car battery of charger), an automotive ignition coil... (you can probably skip the car's ballast resistor and condensor).
