is there anything wrong with injecting propane from ur meter through a 1/8 in hole instead of the normal 1/4??

I can't see anything wrong with that.. The only thing is the propane would enter your chamber slower.

I don't see a problem with a 1/8" tapped hole either. The propane is under pressure in the meter pipe and it will find the chamber once you open the valve.

I cant imagine it being very much slower, however I have a question, do you nooed a regulator on a propane meter? and if so is there a particular kind i would want like a mr. heater?

I would imagain that the flow restriction, even with the 1/8" hole, is at the ball valve. As such, the 1/8" hole is probably benificial, generating higher propane introduction velocities... which probably would lead to better initial fuel mixage.
In fact, I once suggested using the nozzle from a blowgun to increase said introduction velocity.

You should have a regulator on a LP meter for consistency. At lower pressures I am told that a Mr. Heater regulator is more accurate and needs adjusted less. I am currently getting ready to test a Mr. Heater adjustable LP regulator #F273719. I got mine at Ace Hardware.
