Today i decided to straighten my pvc pipe to make the 2 elbows parallel with eachother with a heat gun. Before shooting i created a topic asking if what i did was safe. The reply was no. So i almost ignored everyones advice, but i decided to replace the heated pipe. I replaced it after alot of work and once i had done that i looked at the heated pipe i thought it didn't look damaged, i then grabbed some pliers to test the strength and the pipe twisted and bent under not much pressure from my 2 hands. I learned to listen to peoples advice and it saved me a trip to the hostpital.
Thanks
Marco

At least you weren't hurt. But still, it seemed pretty dumb for you to ignore everyone's advice and simply go ahead and do it. Ah well, as long as you don't do it again, should be fine.

Dude people here dont type into this little box to see how many posts they can do. I'm always up to learn something from others if there been there and done it before. Dude if you wanna live to see 30 listen to the wisdom from those on this site.

I almost decided not to post this because it would be more useless arguing but...
He did take the advice and it probably saved him from some plastic shards flying around. You don't have to get mad at him just for almost ignoring the advice. I'm glad he posted this because now I know for sure that it's not a good idea to bend pvc based on experience, not theory.
