best paintball barrel?
im making a paint ball gun with a 3/4" sprinkler valve (or maybe 1" wich ever ones better) with a breach loader and a stock. but i don't know what size to use for the barrel iv herd that 3/4 CPVC is better than 1/2" sdr21? is this true?

Ive used 3/4 but a standard paintball dosnt fit snugly. A paint ball will not however fit in a 1/2 inch barrel inless you can some how bore it out. Good luck, post it when your done

He said 1/2" SDR 21. It has a thinner wall than Sch. 40.
As to your question, I always use 3/4 Sch 80 pvc for my PB barrels, but it's up to you...

Summer Projects:
CO2 tank hybrid: Gotta fix the meter
Cane gun: Needs a pilot/fill setup
1.5" piston valve gun: Almost done

supposedly 12 sdr 21 is pretty awesome, but i used a 3 foot length of sch 80 untill me friend gave me an 18" paintball barrel from a crappy gun of his.
There are rules, and then there are hundred dollar bills.

personnaly i would sue 3/4 cpvc as it would be better.
there is many pros and cons between the two pipes
3/4 cpvc
pros-
cheap
has a tight enough fit that the ball ownt roll out and a loose enoguh fit for it not to effect performance.
cons-
bends easily
i have never used sch 80 pvc but i am suggesting that is not going to bend easilly and it will be more durable. but more expensive
