my new cannon

this is my second pneumatic cannon its made out of a 20oz soda bottle a shrader valve an aluminum barrel and a ball valve from a hose

i updated the chamber size from 20oz to 24oz it has alot more power

i upgraded it again by using a o ring to seal the breech it improved the distance greatly now u cant even see the paint ball when it goes

well i dont have a chrony but i shot it in my basement 30 feet and it was as soon as i opened the valve and a paintball goes farther than i can see it

wow u can put 110 psi in a soda bottle? i always wondered what a safe pressure they could hold. btw i like that tape job, looks like a nice canon!

yea i read on here some where that 110 is the safe pressure and at 120 the bottle should explode i accadently took it to 120 once and nothing happend so sum times i put it up to 115

my barrel is a hose attachment thing thats used to water flowers i cut the bend off it to use it as a barrel its aluminum bout the size of a paint ball i just got done testing nail ammo i made for it it rules it goes through 3 aluminum soda cans

anyway mythbusters took a pop bottle to bout 150 psi before it exploded so the pressures that you are using should be fine
