I think he will...had a long conversation to PCGUY over msn about it and he's leaning towards it. He's a very reasonable guy and if anything....rocks my world (of spuds that is :) )

@Spudfarm: Hmm, I'm a way through those badges of yours...

I've used 300+PSI, shot 300feet (I've shot over a confirmed 400 metres in the past), disintegrated a potato out of the barrel (tricky, but I have done it once or twice, at least until I fixed the problem), shot through 1/8" steel (well, strictly it was only 3mm, but there's only 0.17mm difference, and that's paper thin - literally), built a gun out of metal (almost all mine are), have shot through a car (ok, a toy one. :P) and I'm in the middle of a test I'm doing for the forum (or more strictly, I'm collecting velocity data when I shoot to help D_Hall with GGDT).

Mind you, I've also got a couple of the negatives, if by mistake (I have accidentally broken a rule on one occasion), or by liberal definitions: "Are you sure that's safe?" (endless loop)

Then again, by that interpretation, people should get "keeps asking the same question" for asking "Any Damage pics?" over and over... :D

well, for the question "Any Damage Pics?" I think would be ok for one persone of that topic to ask if the author doesn't have any and hadn't given a reason why.
but for the people after that, that ask the exact same question, thats when the rule comes in to play..

Perhaps a little over picky, maybe the "rule" needs to be a bit more lax than that.
However, I can see that it might come in useful.

Perhaps we should also have a positive award for: "Proper use of the search function" or "Decent prior research", to award to newbies that turn up having done some good nosing around on Google or the forums to try and find their own information rather than just asking the same questions.
You can only have that award with a post count of under 100 (perhaps 200)... after that, you're considered to have been here long enough that you're no longer a newbie.

<artcritic>Yes, it's so fresh and exciting. The colours set off the inner meaning of the picture, and you can feel the passion and creative energy involved.</artcritic>

You know, it rather reminds me of your old avatar... :D
