Certainly doesn't offend me as my political views are Libertarian.....Govt is much to big, inefficient and intrusive in our private lives.

Question: How many people work for the Govt?
Answer: About half of them!
one just has to admit Bachmann, Palin and Bush are idiots (I don't know much about Perry).
As for Bachmann or Palin.......I'd vote for a Cheese Sandwich before giving them my vote.

As for Perry, it's to early to decide.

PCGUY is the owner of the forum, there are moderators like MrCrowley, jrrdw, Brian the brain, starman etc. who look after the details of the forum on a more or less regular basis, everyone else is the people they have to put up with ;)

I'll try to avoid telling you how utterly stupid that statistic is, and reminding you to check your sources.

Currently, about 16.8% of the employed US workforce is in government positions. How do I know this? Right here you go.

Could it be that what he actually meant was that only half of the people who work for the government actually do any work ;)

And that there are thousands of people working their butts off trying to work for the government? :P

You're also trusting a government agency to report on itself. That's never a good idea.
