The intro was a "gift" from the guys that filmed two pieces about me for German TV (www.tapefilm.de). Top notch professionals!

iv had tons of marble turn to dust when they miss the target and hit a steel plate behind, that's with a air cannon not sling shot though.

Is that a real katana? made in the original way, or just a sharpened showpiece? :) just out of interest, I can't tell from the video

That Katana has a folded blade, very sharp. Found the rusted over blade in an auction, real cheap, a great occasion. I bought the handle and the sheath extra, took me some time to fit things together.

Katana, is a wide term. Katana is a one "model" of many japanses swrods, and there is over 20 different Katana styles. So you mean japanese STYLED sword. A real Japanese sword, made from real Tamahagane, is so valuable that you can only earn one, you can't buy one. My friend has 46 REAL japanese weapons in hes collection, oldest are over thousand years old. He has earned all of them, the collection is worth millions

I realize that the original masterpieces are worth a fortune, and mine isn't one. But it certainly is handmade, and the steel is folded. It is much better than the average type you can find anywhere.

Just thought I'd share this with you guys since it may be of use in these applications. Came across it in Make Magazine:

They're called panic snaps. Basically they're small, cheap (<$4) alternatives to pull-pin hooks or massive quick release hooks which can range from $20 to several hundred. Could make a convenient crossbow trigger or similar.

NOTE: This is not meant seriously. I don't believe in Zombies, really. It's just for the fun of Halloween!

Halloween approaches quickly, and it is again time for the long awaited Special.

The scenario: The shooter is standing safely on a rooftop, and fires down at approaching Zombies - until the area has been cleared.

This time, I tested a specifically designed monster slingshot against a 40mm (1,57") particle board. Even a carpenter's hammer, brought down with full force, can not punch a hole in this thick piece of wood.

Regular slingshots have no chance against the board - not even a Hand Howitzer shot in full butterfly.

But the RTZAS (Roof Top Zombie Annihilation Slingshot) gives you 3,70 meters draw length - more than 11 ft. This is enough to punch a huge hole into the board, with an enormous exit funnel! The weapon is no doubts more than strong enough to smash a Zombie skull.

The video also shows the aiming procedure and the accuracy of the weapon.

This may be the strongest portable hand operated slingshot ever built!

Well, a record holder can always increase his own record, can't he? :)
