Yours is a single chamber also?

Oh wait your filling with compressor through your valve, im doing that for my Cecchino at the moment.

Im building everything hpa now so i wont need the compressor to fill much more.
The pistol plinkers will be precharged semi-auto's.

Hey guys if there's heaps of air left in the barrel AFTER the projectile has left...would that mean a smaller chamber would give even better muzzle velocity, performance, etc?

How are you quantifying it?

In a pneumatic a larger chamber will almost always give you better performance for a given pressure, but it's a game of diminishing returns - so for example you might double your chamber volume but only get a 5% increase in velocity, so not really worth it in most cases.

I was working on the qev yesterday for one of the pistol plinker's and finally managed to get it to seal whilst filling.

The hole was too small and the spring was a little too long, trimmed that, opened the hole and it sealed, but the 3-way was back to front so it was cycling when pushing forward instead of back.

Almost there but its still not quite 100%.
Once this one is ready then i can put the other one together, but i need to get this right.

Does this look ok so far?
Chamber is of course mocked up, a paint ball tank will be replacing that one.

Forgot to add im having filling problems. thought i had it but not sure what it is now, hope to sort it out soon.

Hi guys i have my hpa tank and pump...pump works great when i tested it with the plug, no leaks, etc.

Removed the bearing from the valve, but having trouble filling it up, what have i missed?

Is there another fitting/attachment i'm supposed to have apart from the regulator?

The Ninja tanks have a bearing/ball valve on the very top of the regulator...

I was wanting to do a few dry fire shots but i can't seem to fill the tank no matter what i try.

Im trying to see if there is anything else i need to make this tank work..i thought i only needed a regulator?

Jack are you using a ninja tank for any of your cannons?

Just want to get this guy full of air and start testing it. :bounce:

Regarding the other project im also on...i cant get the spring right in the QEV. It wont fill from chamber..so im having filling problems at the moment.

Looking at your mockup, why is the chamber connected to both the slide valve and the QEV? Shouldn't you have a separate firing chamber?
