White as hell... though I do have an interesting heritage. I am related to William the Conquerer (though who isn't, I mean really, what do you think he did in all of the places he conquered?)
Also, an ancestor of mine was captured by pirates, and killed. His son managed to get away though, with the pirate captain's chair, so my grandma has a pirate chair in her house. How F#<king awesome is that?

How do you know for sure it's a pirate's chair? Wooden legs?

I know, I know, sorry ;p

Speaking of heritage, here's a concept for you to chew on.

Just think of your own bloodline, all down through the centuries and the unmitigated luck that YOU have that none of them died of disease or were killed in a war before they conceived the next in your line!! Any one of them die sooner and you aren't here! Think of the bloodlines that died during the Black Plague and the World Wars...and those are only scratching the surface...

We are a planet of survivors... somehow

It does lend weight to the irrelevance of our existence though. It's bad enough that our very planet is nothing but an infinitesimally small speck of dirt on the sole of the Universe's left boot - let alone her inhabitants. Aside from this, the notion that we are who and where we are only by the slightest coincidence of an infinitely large number of events over an unimaginable length of time makes life seem all the more trivial.

What if Og the Clever hadn't gotten slightly inebriated from eating fermented apples and not let Unka the Slutty have her evil way with him 15,127 years ago? I might not even exist were it not for this minor incident in the distant past, what worth then is such a fragile state of being?

I suppose Monty Python sums it up very well:

One of the members named Demon something is also Asain, so there is 3.
Haha, I think I missed out that one. It's usually hard and troublesome to figure out people's country and origins (ask JSR) if they don't explicitly mention it......thats why the IPLA exists.

Speaking of bloodlines and heritages, its true that if you take out any of your ancestors before he/she reproduces the next stage of your ancestors, you possibly might not be there. But hey, think of it, for all you know someone else might have just come along and taken up the slack.......

Just something random.

Perhaps "taking up the slack" is a bit of a disrespectful expression to use in the regard of your great great great great grandmother/father  but the point is that if that happened, "you" would essentially not be "you", but potentially someone completely different, if at all extant.

True. There are plenty of factors that are changed once you swap a single ancestor out for someone else. [/quote]

Should have added " Redneck " or " Ghetto " or a combination of the two " Redneck from the Ghetto "

Not intended as a racial slur to anyone, just carrying on from the " posts " on the forum.
