I have a feeling that he is going to love the idea of a massive suppressor  Wait, just got a great idea

Glade that my hybrid it´s not as loud as a tank gun... That thing is going to be a pain to build  I´m gonna try to put together 3 5l water bottle alined to make a transparent mega suppressor :D [/img]

You don't even need the oil drum, the tyres can just be tied together. What I would definitely do is close off the ends of this "tyre tube" with plywood or something and just leave small holes for poking the muzzle in and projectile exit.

Or just use one of these 5 gallon jugs :)

Poke a barrel sized hole in the base to stick the muzzle in, and aim it to shoot out of the existing opening.

Water bottles are easier to get. I was thinking about put 3 of them aligned was PVC pipes around them and drill exit holes between them. Should work, now hope it's efficient, but aiming it's limited now by the suppressor mount...

Yay got the suppressor done (was easy actually)
Just 3x 6L water bottles.

Is that only held together with tape?

Hmmm...

not sure what's your barrel to chamber ratio but I think it won't survive many shots

I built something similar for a penumatic and it wan't very sturdy

Currently only on tape because few stuff are able to glue PET. But it's just for testing if it works I'd probably find some tougher materials.
For now I just hope it can survive +-5 shots so I can have enough footage for a decent video.
Hopefully tomorrow you will hear the results.

Can't you try some sort of fastener at least? I would stick them with silicone sealer and small wood screws all round before putting any pressure in it.

I was planning on seal them with silicon, but the weather it's kind wet ultimately and it would take few days for the silicon to dry. But if it works, I'd definitely do so.

Silicone aside I would strongly advise some sort of mechanical fastener, at the very least wrap some tape lengthwise.

Anyway, you were right about everything  , the supressor did not survive more than 3 shots, but it did it´s job :)
AND
I found a place near my house where aparently no one cares and we took all the shots there and nobody showed up  :D :o
SO
That means next week (probably every week) you guys will hear more from my hybrid
More video to come

The dog seemed to hear it :)

I recommend you buy some drainpipe and make something sturdier, but otherwise great shots!
