I got my info from firearms registery and they said classed as class E and Class A no matter what extremely illegal but the cops that were in there were all lax about it they were just like you don't own one wink wink wink etc etc now run along and don't get coaught. But if they want to be assholes u can get messed up on it!

We can only hope that spud guns get sweept under the rug or even buried in some obscure classification that can't be pin pointed on any paticular spud gun. It has happened befor we can only hope it happens again.

Twitch,Ya know here is an idea.Probably won't work but its worth a shot.Australia has a major rabbit problem does it not?And since they are an invasive species the cops(and game wardens) may not have a problem giving you a license under the pretence of using the cannon for rabbit hunting.Agree to use marbles since they pose no threat real threat to humans (compared to nail darts). Marbles are plenty to kill rabbits. You may get your license and dinner.I may be totally off, sorry if I am.Good luck on the licenses fella's.

RSPCA (animal crulty mob) would have a problem with it. It's ok to shoot em with bullets but not marbles! Plus you have to apply for a seperate licence that allows you to kull rabbits in your area. The you have to prove that your using the carcuses for some worth while use you can't just leave em where they drop. Last time I cheaked the local butcher was paying $5 per rabbit and the fur mob was only paying 50c for the hides.
So in theory you could make some dollars but you have to report to the rangers every week. Good thorght but the authoritys over here would'nt like it one bit.

O dang,That is strict just to kill a nusience.I pay 5 bucks to get a county hunting license. I shoot the junk out of the little buggers. That's funny that you can't shoot them w/ marbles.A rabbit is about the easiest thing to kill.Throw a stick at them and they die.

Well sorry i wasted ya'lls time I figured I'd try and help.In Kenya(where I'll be living soon) they let ya kill rabbits no problem.

It's out of control strict, you need a lisence to FISH in NSW yes to FISH!!!If you are over 16....Don't even try getting a licence to shoot animals wiht a home made gun...They would bat you down so hard.
