It is common practice for farmers to shut off the fuel petcock on the tank when parking tractors overnight because gravity feed systems were prone to leaking. Does your tractor have a shut off valve on the water separator filter? Dirt, age, wear, varnish, etc can keep the float from sealing 100%jsefcik wrote:I figured out why my tractor gas tank is always empty when I leave it sit,, I have a carb gasket leak ,, but other then that is runs!! Sorry to hear about this and good advice. Questions: Where's the kids father? Is he in the picture? How old are the kids? If you don't mind me asking, if you don't want to get that deep it's ok you don't have to. Again, sorry for your lose and my best to you and your family.mattyzip77 wrote:Hello all. Just a quick few words to never take life for granted. Get along with your friends and family always because you never know when a loved one could be taken from you. I recently lost my sister over the weekend. She was only 45, married with 3 kids. Imagine being her daughter, and going to wake her up from a nap, to find her gone, and never to be able to see her or talk to her again. This has been a huge reality check for me and it goes out to all of you young adults on here. Be safe, and live your life to the fullest!
A damning indictment of society that such activities are deemed necessary. Still, looks like funTechnician1002 wrote:men's retreat

There are such things as millilitres and litres too in the metric worldramses wrote:Fnord wrote:Ok, normally I don't use the metric system (even for length... expressing inches with the decimal system is just as easy) , but I have to agree the US liquid volume units are the most screwed up overcomplicated pile of crap I've even seen. I don't even have them memorized so I often use grams when cooking... people wonder why I have a gram scale on my kitchen counter
But recipes insist on using volumetric measurements.
